Comparison: Apartments and Houses
According to RP Data, when looking at the median price of properties sold in the 3 months to July 2013, apartments in Brisbane are $75,000 more affordable than houses.

Housing Affordability in Brisbane
House prices in capital cities are forecast to stay severely unaffordable for at least a decade.
A study by the University of Canberra and AMP found that median house prices jumped 147 per cent to $417,000 between 2001 and 2011.
